1º DÍA QS3000 PRO SANTA CRUZ 2018

Comenzo este martes día 24 de abril 2018 , en Santa Cruz , Portugal , evento QS3000 Pro Santa Cruz , en difíciles condiciones , con olas de cerca de un metro afectadas por el viento moderado a fuerte del norte. A pesar de todo, estas permitieron a los 80 atletas que hoy compitieron mostrar todo su talento.

Durante este martes se realizaron las dos primeras rondas de competición. Como consecuencia, ya se conoce los emparejamientos de la tercera fase del evento.

Lo más destacado de la jornada fue el sudafricano Shane Sykes, que logro la mejor puntuación total, 13,76 puntos .

También destacó el francés Tristan Guilbaud que, a pesar de haber entrado en esta prueba como suplente, logró vencer las dos mangas en las que participó, estando ya garantizado en la tercera fase de la prueba.

También destacó el argentino Jose Gundesen, el español Luis Díaz y el brasileño Wesley Leite.

Por el camino quedaron ya 40 surfistas, destacándose nombres como el de Gabriel Villaran, Ruben Vitoria, Nolan Rapoza y Tiago Pires, todos ellos eliminados en la segunda fase de la competición.

La llamada para mañana, segundo día del período de espera del Pro Santa Cruz 2018 presentado por Oakley, está marcada para las 9:00, en la Playa de la Física, Santa Cruz, Torres Vedras.
